Sandra Oman, soprano, Simon Morgan, baritone & Niall Kinsella, piano


Dublin-born soprano Sandra Oman was the 2004 recipient of the Margaret Burke Sheridan Memorial Award for her contribution to opera in Ireland. Born in the heart of the Liberties, Dublin, she graduated from the DIT Conservatory of Music, Dublin with the Ely O’Carroll Gold Medal, the Conservatory’s highest award. Having won major awards at all the national festivals, she reached the final stages of the National Mozart Competition in the United Kingdom.

A favourite with Opera Ireland at the Gaiety Theatre, Dublin, she performed principal roles with them in twelve different seasons, and in the field of classical crossover, Sandra has performed as guest artist with the Celtic Tenors, at the National Concert Hall, Dublin, University Concert Hall, Limerick, Cork Opera House and also in the National Opera House, Riga, Latvia. Over the last five years has toured Ireland with the highly successful Mario Lanza tribute “The Loveliest Night of the Year“, hailed by Lanza’s daughter, Elissa as “the greatest tribute to my father that I have seen.

Baritone Simon Morgan’s operatic roles include Ipparco in L’Egisto by Cavalli, Cox in Sullivan’s Cox and Box, and Belcore in L’Elisir D’Amore, at the National Concert Hall of Ireland.At Dublin’s Gate Theatre, Simon played the Role of Antony in their acclaimed production of Stephen Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd (Winner of best Opera Production at the Irish Theatre Awards).

Simon recently launched his first solo Album with Orchestra, “I’ll Be Seeing You”, at The National Concert Hall of Ireland. This Album went to number 1 in the Irish Album Charts, after a much Heralded performance on The Late Late Show.

They are accompanied by Niall Kinsella who is fast establishing himself as one of Ireland’s most exciting young performers and has appeared in concerts with many of Ireland’s leading singers
