HIDDEN AQUATIC TREASURES OF THE BOYLE AREA’S RIVERS AND LOUGHS

Dr Ken Whelan will give an illustrated talk on the freshwater habitats of the Boyle area. Ken Whelan is an adjunct Professor at the School of Biology and Environmental Science, University College Dublin, with expertise in the fields of fisheries science, climate change impacts, stock dynamics of Atlantic salmon and sea trout, and aquaculture.

He has produced many films and videos on fisheries-related topics and is a regular contributor to the Mooney Goes Wild show on RTE Radio.
