We have shared her journeys on ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ and ‘Ireland’s Fittest Family’ so now join us in King House for an engaging conversation with award-winning journalist and author John Mulligan, as they explore Nina’s remarkable journey and what lies ahead for one of Ireland’s most inspiring women.

Nina Carberry has been an Irish Junior Basketball team player, a Champion National Hunt jockey, a Grand National winner, the winner of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ on RTE TV, a Coach on ‘Ireland’s Fittest Family (RTE), a motivational speaker and businesswoman, and the author of a much-loved series of children’s books. Currently making her mark as a Member of the European Parliament, Nina is married to Ted Walsh and they have two children.

Join us for an interesting hour in the Salon in King House, in conversation with local journalist John Mulligan, as we attempt to find out more about the multi-talented Nina Carberry, her extraordinary life to date, and what the future may hold for her.

John Mulligan is an award-winning Irish author, journalist and newspaper columnist. A previous winner of the Fish International Award for short fiction, he has won the Roscommon Writing award twice. He is the author of six books and his work has appeared in numerous anthologies and publications in Ireland and Britain. John writes a popular and sometimes controversial weekly column for the Roscommon Herald newspaper and contributes features to a number of publications.
