Stockton’s Wing have a reputation for being one of Ireland’s most exciting live bands, their shows are filled with energy and passion, as well as an incredible sense of fun.
Having been at the forefront of Irish music for 40+ years, with a career that has brought them to every corner of the world, from their humble beginnings in Brogans pub in Ennis, to becoming one of Ireland’s leading bands and touring the globe, the Wing are showing no signs of stopping anytime soon.
With Paul Roche’s wild and haunting flutes and whistles, Mike Hanrahan’s passionate, thought provoking song-writing and articulate guitar playing, they have got the energy and enthusiasm of a young band, backed up by the experience and talent of some of Ireland’s finest musicians in Karol Lynch on banjo and mandolin, Tara Breen on fiddle, Paul McSherry on guitar, and Stephen Byrne on drums.
Their song Beautiful Affair was voted into RTE radio top 75 Irish songs of all time.
