Yueran Yang is a pianist and teacher based in Meath. She holds a first-class honours bachelor’s degree in classical music performance from TU Dublin Conservatoire where she studied piano with Dr David Mooney, and organ with Simon Harden.
Yueran Yang holds a first-class honours bachelor’s degree in classical music performance from TU Dublin Conservatoire. During her undergraduate studies, Yueran received the Anne Leahy award for Excellence in Research for her dissertation.
Currently, Yueran is furthering her artistic and research skills through a master’s degree in piano performance at TU Dublin Conservatoire studying with Dr Mary Lennon. Her research has a focus on the music of Clara Schumann, which she has presented on in a lecture-recital at the Conservatoire.
Yueran has participated in piano masterclasses with many notable artists including Finghin Collins, Barry Douglas, Sergei Edelmann, Sofya Gulyak, and John O’Conor. As a pianist, Yueran has given several performances including at the John Field Room in the National Concert Hall as part of the 2022 Master Course Series, and at the TU Dublin Conservatoire Lunchtime Recital Series 2023 at the TU Dublin Concert Hall.
