This workshop will be a fun introduction to the art of knitting – a timeless craft enjoying a huge resurgence in popularity across all ages. As more people rediscover the joy of handmade crafts, knitting has become a creative and relaxing way to slow down, connect and make something useful with your own hands.
Children, together with a parent or grandparent, can come along and learn this wonderful craft in a fun way, making it the perfect opportunity for adults and children to learn together. All participants will be guided through the basics of knitting in a relaxed, supportive environment, with plenty of encouragement along the way.
All materials will be provided, so just bring your creativity and enthusiasm.

Liz Nugent is a keen crafter who has been knitting since the age of 5 and loves nothing more than helping others to learn this timeless craft. She is particularly keen to pass this skill on to children as a way to keep little hands busy and feed into the wonderful creativity that lies within each child.
